Atkins-Racing News

After 23 very enjoyable and successful years in Truck Racing the time has come for my retirement. On Sunday evening at the Nurburgring I informed the team of my decision along with the news that Atkins Racing Ltd. will continue in the immediate future with the sponsorship arrangements already in place.

The final round at Jarama will be my last in Europe and my last race will be at Brands Hatch in November. At the end of 2007 I plan to emigrate to New Zealand with my family and start a new life “ down under “

I would like to thank all my old friends at Mercedes Benz and BP, my more recent ones at MAN, Castrol and Knorr along with the Levett family for providing me with the platform to perform. Finally, a big thank you to the people that over the years have been part of the team, including the drivers, past and present. All the success would not have been possible without them.
